Aqua Timez is a Japanese musical group formed in 2003. They consist of four men and one woman. The name derives from the name Aqua Timez Timez magazines they read. While Aqua says they add in a hurry because the group they should have a name.
Aqua Timez is under the label EPIC Records Japan (Sony Music Entertainment).On August 24, 2005 they released a mini album Ippai Sora ni Inori Kanaderu with indie label. Mini album with major label, Nana Iro no Rakugaki released 5 April 2006.

Aqua Timez Story
Aqua Timez founded in 2003 by vocalist and bassist Futoshi OKP-Star. They are assisted keyboard player and guitar player Daisuke Mayuko as supporting musicians. Both were then used as a permanent member. In Chance's band contest! held Shinseido, they successively won twice, 2003 and 2004. They recorded their own album Hateni Tomoru Kanashimi no Hikari, and held a show at the edges of the street in Tokyo, as in Kichijoji and Shibuya.
Album Ippai Sora ni Inori Kanaderu released August 24, 2005 with the indie label Megaforce Corporation. One song, "TÅshindai no Love Song" into the list of songs that are frequently asked by Usen cable radio listeners
In January 2006, the song "Sora ni Ippai Kanaderu Inori" entered the top 10 to top the Oricon charts ranks number one on February 20, 2006. Still in July the same year, the song "Ketsui no Asa ni" used as the theme song for the anime film Brave Story, and drummer Tasshi accepted as an official member. In August, they did a concert tour in seven major cities of Japan. The second single, "Mon Koete no Yoru o" which was released 22 November 2006 made Bleach movie theme song. They ended in 2006 with the release of their debut album Kaze o Atsumete (December 6, 2006). On New Year's Eve, they appeared on NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen rendition of "Ketsui no Asa ni".
4th single, "alones" which was released August 1, 2007 be used as the opening song on the TV Tokyo anime Bleach. After that began August 4, 2007, they performed the "Big Bang" tour '07 which was canceled after experiencing inflammation of the vocal cords Futoshi akut.Singel to-5, "Chiisana Tenohira" is used as the theme song drama serial Joshideka! starring Yukie Nakama and Pinko Izumi on TBS television.
From March 15 until May 30, Aqua Timez concert tour "tour 2008 evergreen" that lasted as much as 17 times the performance. 6th single released May 8, 2008, "Niji" is used as a serial drama Gokusen song. While the singles to-7, "Natsu no Kakera" is used as the theme song Hurray Hurray Shojo movie, starring Yui Aragaki.
